The family package bundles 2 adults at the standard adult rate and 2 children at a reduced child-saver rate (AED 195 vs the standalone child rate of AED 225). Same Evening Safari + BBQ programme — the saving comes from booking as a family.

Children 0-2 ride free on a parent's lap and don't count towards the package. Children 3-12 use the child-saver rate. Teens 13+ pay adult rate. Tell us your kid ages on WhatsApp at booking and we lock in the right pricing.

The Family Safari Package is the Evening Safari + BBQ programme bundled at a saver rate for the 2-adults-2-kids configuration. AED 870 total covers two adults at the standard AED 240 rate and two children at AED 195 each (saver rate; standalone child rate is AED 225). That's AED 60 saving over booking the same family on individual tickets.

Same programme as the standard Evening Safari. Hotel pickup, dune bashing, camel ride, sandboarding, BBQ buffet, belly dance, tanoura, fire show, henna painting, Arabic dress photo. No reduction in inclusions — only the price configuration changes for families.

Kid-friendly safari pace. Tell the driver at pickup that you have kids on board. The team uses the family route — gentler dune lines, slower speeds on transitions, less aggressive bashing. The standard route adjusts comfortably; first-timer kids and motion-sensitive kids handle the family route without issue.

What kids get from the camp. Henna painting, Arabic dress photo, kid-friendly buffet items (chicken, rice, pasta, fruits, dessert), unlimited soft drinks, and unstructured time at the sandboarding area. Most kids 5+ love the camel ride; under 5 we recommend skipping.

What to bring for kids. Closed shoes that cover the ankle (loaner pairs at the camp). Light jacket for evening — desert cools after 19:00 in winter. Water bottle. Kid sunscreen for the photo stops. Camera or phone for the photo opportunities. Camp has changing facilities.

Add an extra kid or adult. The package is built around 2A + 2C. Adding a third adult at AED 240. Adding a third child at AED 225 (standard child rate, not saver). Adding a fourth adult requires a second Land Cruiser — split into two cars.

Kids 0-2. Free on parent's lap. Skip this package — book straight Evening Safari for two adults at AED 480. The free-lap rule covers any infant; no need to book the family configuration.

Kids 3-5. Family Package works. Camel ride is OK with parent on the same camel. Sandboarding skipped (wait for older). BBQ has kid-friendly options. Late-night programme can be tiring; book the morning Family Safari at AED 810 if your kid is on the early-bedtime side.

Kids 6-9. The sweet spot for the Family Package. Camel ride, sandboarding, BBQ buffet, henna, Arabic dress photo all engage actively. Dune bashing is enjoyable rather than scary at this age.

Kids 10-12. The Family Package still applies but consider the Evening + ATV upgrade — kids 13+ can ride the 220cc quad with parental approval. If your kid is right on 12-13, ask the team about quad eligibility.

Teens 13+. Pay adult rate. The saver doesn't apply. Consider Evening + ATV at AED 375 / pp for teens who want the quad experience.
