When the light is golden.
October to April is peak season — comfortable temperatures, dramatic sunsets, golden-hour photography light. Sunset slots fill 1-2 days ahead on weekends and 2-3 days on holidays (New Year, Eid, Valentine's). Book early.
May to September the morning slot is the only sensible pick — sunset is hot at pickup and the camp can feel sticky. Photographers still get good light at 06:30-09:00 on the morning slot.

Dubai's sunset is the most-photographed natural moment for couples in the city. At Lahbab the golden hour runs roughly 17:00-17:30 in winter (October-March) and 18:30-19:00 in summer (May-September). Pickup window 15:00-16:00 catches the convoy at the dune photo stop right inside that golden window every season.
Specific shot opportunities at the dune photo stop: silhouette shot with two figures on the crest against orange sky (best with the team holding the camera 50 metres away). Best season for couples: October-March for the comfortable temperatures and dramatic sunsets. April and October shoulder months are also good. May-September stays operational but evening sunsets in summer can feel hot — consider morning alternatives or pair the safari with a cooler hotel pool day.
