Deluxe Sunrise
+ Breakfast.
Sunrise balloon flight + gourmet breakfast at the desert camp + 15-minute camel ride + 10-minute trained falcon show. Most-booked balloon package.
Why deluxe wins on value.
The Deluxe Sunrise Flight is the most-booked tier in our balloon lineup. AED 100 more than the standard sharing flight buys you a full breakfast, a 15-minute camel ride, and a 10-minute trained falcon demonstration at the desert camp post-landing. The maths work out to about AED 8 per minute of additional curated experience — the kind of micro-upgrade that pays back across the entire morning.
Same flight as standard. Same shared basket. Same DTCM-licensed pilot. Same Margham launch site. Same 60-minute air time at sunrise. The differentiator is the camp programme that sits between landing (around 07:00) and hotel drop-off (around 10:00). Standard tier sends you straight to the drop-off van; deluxe routes through the camp where the breakfast spread is set up under shade with traditional Bedouin-style seating.
For travellers visiting Dubai for the first time, this is usually the right balloon package. You get the desert camp atmosphere — camel, falcon, breakfast — without booking a separate desert safari evening. The morning ends naturally and your day is open from 10:00 onwards.

Deluxe extends Standard with a post-landing camp programme. After the basket lands and the chase team meets you, you transfer to the Margham camp for a gourmet breakfast (Arabic + continental options under bedouin shade), a 25-minute camel ride along the dune line, and a falcon photo opportunity with a local handler. Total morning runs ~5.5 hours from pickup to drop-off vs ~3.5 hours for Standard.
Pickup logistics identical to Standard. Pre-dawn collect from any Dubai hotel, ~45-minute drive to the Margham launch field, briefing + tea/coffee, balloon segment 60 minutes, then the camp programme. Drop-off back at hotel typically around 10:30–11:00.
Suits guests who want the morning to extend beyond the flight itself and don't have a fixed hotel breakfast back-up. The breakfast quality at Margham camp is genuinely good — fresh-cooked plus chilled options. The camel and falcon segments run separately at the camp; you can skip either if not interested without a refund (the package price covers the option, not the requirement).
Cancellation logic identical to Standard: weather call by ~03:00, reschedule or refund per the standard policy. The breakfast/camel/falcon segments are independent of weather — they run regardless of whether the balloon flew that morning, so a weather-cancelled flight reschedules with breakfast still included on the original morning if guests want.
Choosing the right tier.
Pick Deluxe if breakfast and the camp programme matter as part of the morning's value. The hot-cooked Arabic + continental spread, 25-minute camel ride, and falcon photo opportunity together extend the experience by ~90 minutes and deliver three Bedouin-tradition exposures the Standard tier skips. Most first-time UAE visitors default to Deluxe for this reason.
Pick Standard if you have a fixed hotel breakfast back-up, an early-morning second activity (Burj Khalifa observation deck opens 08:30, perfect after a Standard 09:00 hotel return), or you've already done multiple desert camp programmes on previous UAE trips and the camel/falcon segments are repeats for you.
What's identical across both: the flight itself (same basket, same pilot, same launch site, same 60-minute air time), the safety briefing, the hotel pickup/drop-off, the flight certificate. Deluxe doesn't give you a 'better balloon' — it gives you a longer overall morning.
Booking the Deluxe upgrade after confirming Standard is usually possible up to 24 hours before flight if camp capacity allows. Mention at the original WhatsApp confirmation if you think you might want to upgrade — saves a follow-up message.
