How safari pricing works.
Three pricing axes. Safari prices vary on duration (4-hour morning vs 6-hour evening), inclusions (camp + BBQ vs camp-only vs add-ons like ATV), and vehicle privacy (shared van vs private 4x4). The cheapest tier is camp-only Standard BBQ at AED 125 — no dune bashing, no pickup. The highest standard tier is Private Evening + BBQ at AED 1,400 / car. Beyond that, Overnight Bedouin Stay quotes per group based on add-ons.
Hotel pickup is included on every package above AED 125. The Standard BBQ Camp at AED 125 / pp is camp-only because pickup adds ~AED 100 per person to operational cost. Booking Evening Safari at AED 240 already covers pickup. There is no separate pickup fee on standard packages.
BBQ buffet is included on every evening package. Veg + non-veg unlimited buffet, soft drinks, tea, coffee, henna, Arabic dress photo. The morning packages skip the BBQ entirely, which is why they're AED 15 cheaper per adult. Adding ATV (Yamaha quad bike, 30 minutes) bumps the price by AED 60-135 depending on slot.
Premium VIP camp upgrade. The AED 250 / pp Premium VIP BBQ Camp is a camp-side upgrade — private majlis seating, upgraded buffet, quieter zone. It's not a dune-bashing safari. Pair with a separate quad ride at AED 250 / 1-hour for a full evening at AED 500 / pp without booking the full safari programme.
Private safari pricing per car. AED 799 (morning) / AED 1,400 (evening) covers a full Land Cruiser regardless of how many passengers fill it. At 6 passengers per private car, evening private hits AED 233 / pp — cheaper per person than the AED 240 / pp shared rate. Below 4 passengers, shared is the better deal.
Save on your safari.
Book sunset 1-2 days ahead. Evening sunset slots October-April fill on weekends and holidays. Morning slots have more same-day availability. If you have flexibility on date, mid-week is easier than weekend.
Children 0-2 ride free. Lap-held infants don't count toward package count. Strollers don't fit on the convoy van — leave at the hotel. Bring a carrier if you need hands-free for sunset photos.
Family of 4 — book the package. The Family Safari Package bundles 2 adults + 2 children at a saver rate (AED 870 vs AED 930 standalone). Same evening programme, AED 60 saving. Mention kid ages on WhatsApp at booking.
Group of 8+ — corporate quote. Group bookings unlock multi-vehicle coordination, dedicated camp coordinator, and 10-15% off standard rates. Send your group size on WhatsApp; quote returns within an hour during business hours.
Combine quad + camp BBQ. A 1-hour quad bike at AED 250 plus Standard BBQ Camp at AED 125 = AED 375 / person. That's the same evening as the AED 375 Evening Safari + ATV but split across two locations and longer total time on programme.
Pay at the camp. No prepayment required for standard bookings. Card and cash both accepted. Private and overnight bookings may require a deposit at booking — confirmed at quote stage.
Common extras.
Birthday or anniversary cake. AED 100-150 depending on size and customisation. 24-hour notice via WhatsApp. Cake delivered at the camp during dinner. Photo of cake reveal sent to your WhatsApp.
Decorated table at the camp. AED 100. Anniversary balloons, candles, name sign. Best on Premium VIP camp seating or Private Evening private table.
Dedicated sunset photographer. AED 350 for 30-minute photo session at the high crest. DSLR + portrait lens, high-resolution delivery via WeTransfer in 48 hours.
Live oud or arabic music ensemble. AED 250 for solo oud (30 minutes); AED 1,500 for 3-musician ensemble (1 hour). Best at Premium VIP seating or Private Evening.
Falconry display. AED 200 for 15-minute trained-falcon handling at your camp table. AED 800 for 30-minute group display (group bookings 8+ pax).
Branded photo backdrop. AED 800 setup + delivery for corporate logo on 3x2m printed backdrop. Best for corporate retreats and team-building groups.
Quad bike add-on. AED 60-135 added to the safari pickup logistics. 30-minute self-ride quad on Lahbab dunes. Riders 13+ on Yamaha 220cc, 16+ on 400cc.
Bookings 20+ pax.
20-30 pax. Group rate unlocks 10% discount on standard adult and child rates. Multi-vehicle Land Cruiser convoy, dedicated coordinator, reserved camp section.
30-50 pax. Group rate unlocks 12-15% discount depending on day of week (mid-week deeper discount). Group photo zone, branded entry sign on request.
50+ pax. Custom quote with 15-20% discount potential. Includes dedicated camp section, branded backdrop, falconry, custom buffet menu options.
