The morning safari is for guests who want the desert without the BBQ camp commitment. Pickup is early — 06:30 to 07:30 — and the route runs the same Lahbab dune programme: 4x4 dune bashing, camel ride, sandboarding, photo stops. The temperature on the sand is in the comfortable range until around 11:00, which makes morning the only sensible slot in May to September peak summer.
The morning slot is also where photographers default. Soft, low-angle light from sunrise through 09:00 paints the orange dunes in gold and the long shadows hide tyre marks. If your itinerary has another half-day plan in Dubai, morning safari + Marina lunch + afternoon city tour pairs nicely.
