Rental agreement summary
- Dune buggies are operated only on approved sandy/desert areas — never on public roads or streets.
- Guests must follow guide instructions and the safety briefing at all times.
- Damage from misuse, rollover, collision, off-route driving, or late return may be chargeable per the rental agreement.
- Drivers must be 18+ with a valid passport ID. Passengers must be 12+ with a guardian.
- Closed shoes required. Loaner pairs available at the camp.
- Safety gear (helmet, goggles, gloves) and guided briefing are included on every ride.
Cancellation policy

Package-specific answers from past bookings.
What is the minimum age for kids?
Children must be 12 years old or older to ride in the rear bench of the 4-seater. There are no exceptions — the harness geometry, helmet sizing and dune forces are built around the 12+ threshold. Younger children are welcome at the camel ride and BBQ camp but cannot ride in the buggy.
Can two adults both drive?
Yes — but not in the same 4-seater. If two adults both want to drive, we recommend booking a second 2-seater buggy for the same convoy. Tell us at booking and we will price it as one package and keep the convoy together.
Are seat belts proper harnesses?
All four seats are full 4-point race harnesses, the same spec as the 2-seater buggies. Kids get harness fit checked individually during the briefing — we tighten the lap belts before each child boards.
How fast does the buggy go on family runs?
On family routes, the lead guide paces the convoy to roughly 30 – 50 km/h on flat sand, slower on dune climbs. The buggy is mechanically capable of 110 km/h but we never approach that speed on family rides.
Is hotel pickup included?
Yes. Free SUV pickup and drop-off across Dubai is included on the 1-hour ride. The full package runs roughly 4 to 5 hours door-to-door if you add the BBQ camp, or 3 hours without.
What is the cancellation policy?
For non-group bookings, 96+ hours before departure has no cancellation fee, 72+ hours has a 50% cancellation fee, and under 24 hours has a 100% cancellation fee. Same-day and no-shows are 100% cancellation fee. If we cancel for safety reasons we offer reschedule or refund. Full policy at /cancellation-policy/.
