Quad Bike 400cc Double Seater
Two-up Yamaha 400cc — the only quad in our fleet built for a passenger. Drive your child (9 and up) or partner on the same machine, the same dune line, the same memory.
Why pick the Quad Bike 400cc Double Seater.
The 400cc Double Seater is the only quad in our Lahbab fleet built for a passenger. The seat is extended, there's a passenger backrest and grip handle, and the chassis is set up for the loaded weight. It's the right answer when a parent wants to take a child on a real dune ride, or when a couple wants to share the experience without booking two single quads.
The driver must be 16 or older with a valid passport ID. The passenger must be 9 or older with a guardian. Children 9 to 12 can ride as passenger but cannot drive — for child drivers we run the kids 90cc on the fenced track.
What the ride feels like.
Acceleration is gentler than the single 400cc because of the loaded weight. The chassis still climbs a Lahbab dune face confidently but the line choice is slightly more conservative — the guide picks routes that suit a tandem. Most parent-child pairs say the experience is calmer than they expected; most couples say it feels more connected than two solo quads.
Best for.
Right rider profile
Parents who want their 9–12-year-old on a real dune ride, not just the kids track. Couples who want the shared-quad experience instead of two solo machines. Riders who don't drive but want to feel the desert from a quad.
Where it runs
Lahbab smoother to mid-grade lines. The double seater is not recommended for the steepest Big Red faces or Fossil Rock — the loaded weight changes the climb dynamics. Sunset rides work well on this machine for couples.
