Quad Bike 400cc
The standard adult quad. 400cc Yamaha with strong dune-climb authority and a real Lahbab full loop in reach — most-booked ATV in our fleet for confident solo riders 16 and up.
Why pick the Quad Bike 400cc.
The 400cc single-rider Yamaha is the most-rented adult quad we run. Power is enough to climb a real Lahbab dune face confidently, the automatic transmission means you focus on line choice, and the chassis stays planted on long-radius corners. The seat sits at a comfortable height for riders 5'5" and up; shorter riders sometimes prefer the 220cc.
For most adult guests this is the right first booking. It can do the full Lahbab loop comfortably, take a short Big Red detour on the 1-hour and 2-hour packages, and still be forgiving enough that a confident first-time rider with a guide can finish the session smiling.
What the ride feels like.
The 400cc has the dune-climb authority that the 220cc lacks. You can climb a 35-metre crest without rolling onto the throttle stop, the brakes pull confidently, and the chassis recovers cleanly from a small slide. Most repeat customers default to this machine — it does 80% of what the Turbo can do at a quarter of the experience requirement.
Best for.
Right rider profile
Confident solo riders 16 and up. Anyone who's ridden a quad or jet ski before and wants the real Lahbab loop. Travellers who pair the quad with a desert safari and want a meaningful ride, not a taster.
Where it runs
Lahbab full dune loop including the bowl section. Short Big Red detours on the 1-hour and 2-hour packages. Not recommended for the steep upper Big Red faces — for those, step up to the 400cc Turbo or 700cc.
