▸ Refund channels

Card, bank, cash.

Card refunds: processed back to the original card used at booking via the UAE-licensed payment gateway. Visible on the cardholder's statement within 1 billing cycle (typically 5–10 working days from the cancellation confirmation). The gateway reference number is provided in the WhatsApp confirmation when the refund is initiated.

Bank transfer refunds: processed to the IBAN provided at booking, or to a guest-specified IBAN after identity verification. Processing time 3–7 working days depending on intermediary banks. Currency at the time of refund matches the original transaction (typically AED for UAE-based bookings).

Cash refunds: returned at the next operator/guest meeting or via bank transfer to a guest-supplied IBAN. Cash refunds in-person require both parties to be in Dubai; remote bookings (international guests already departed) shift to bank transfer.

Voucher-funded bookings: refund returns to the voucher balance rather than to the original card. The voucher balance can then be redeemed against a future booking within the validity window.

▸ Partial refunds

Mid-experience, service-quality.

Partial-completion refund: if a session is cut short due to operator-side issues (vehicle breakdown after 30 minutes of a 2-hour session), partial refund equivalent to the unused portion is processed automatically. Documentation of the issue captured by the lead guide on the day.

Service-quality refund: if a guest reports a substantive service issue post-trip and the operator's review confirms the issue (e.g. dietary preferences not accommodated, specific add-on missing), partial refund corresponding to the affected component is processed. Reviews handled within 5 working days of the post-trip submission.

Goodwill credit: in lieu of a small partial refund, the operator may offer a same-value voucher for a future booking. The guest can choose either option.

▸ Voucher refund rules

Issue, redemption, transfer specifics.

Vouchers paid for and received but not yet redeemed: refundable within 14 days of issue, minus a small processing fee (typically 5%). After 14 days, the voucher is not refundable but remains valid for redemption within the 12-month window.

Vouchers redeemed in part: the redeemed portion is not refundable; the unused balance remains on the voucher for future redemption within the validity window. If the guest cancels the redeemed booking under the standard policy, the cancellation fee structure applies to the redeemed portion only.

Lost or compromised voucher codes: code deactivation and reissue handled with proof of original purchase. No refund on lost vouchers — the team focuses on enabling redemption rather than processing refunds.

WhatsApp cancellation confirmation: same-day during operating hours. The operator confirms the refund initiation in the WhatsApp thread.

Card refund visibility: 5–10 working days. Most cardholders see the refund inside 7 days; some cards (American Express occasionally) take up to 14 days due to processor batching.

Bank transfer refund: 3–7 working days depending on the intermediary banks involved. International transfers (non-UAE banks) can take longer due to correspondent-banking routes.

Cash refund: same-day if both parties in Dubai, or 3–7 working days via bank transfer if remote.
