Terms &
Conditions.
Booking, cancellation, vehicle rental rules, rider responsibility, age limits, payment terms, no-show policy. Read before confirming any booking. Last updated: 2026-04-27.
How a booking becomes binding.
A booking is provisional until the operator confirms availability and price. Provisional means: guest sends dates, group size, package preference; operator replies on WhatsApp within 5 minutes during operating hours quoting per-person price and pickup time window. Booking becomes binding when the guest replies 'yes confirm' inside the same thread.
Confirmation message includes pickup time, driver contact, what to bring, and the cancellation policy applicable to the booking. Long-distance overnight bookings (Liwa, Empty Quarter, multi-day Al Ain) sometimes require a deposit of approximately 30% at confirmation; the team flags this in the quote when applicable.
Exact fee structure.
96+ hours before departure: no cancellation fee. 72+ hours before departure: 50% cancellation fee. Under 24 hours / same-day / no-show: 100% cancellation fee. Cancellation requests submitted via the same WhatsApp thread used to confirm the booking.
Reschedule: free if requested 96+ hours before departure. 72+ hours: subject to availability and may carry a small admin fee. Under 24 hours: same as cancellation 100% — though the team applies discretion for genuine emergencies (medical, weather-driven travel disruption) on a case-by-case basis.
Operator-initiated cancellation (weather, equipment failure, road closure): complete refund or reschedule at guest's preference. The operator monitors weather and operational risk and proactively reschedules ahead of the booking date when conditions warrant; refund processing typically completes within 5–10 working days through the original payment channel.
Rider responsibility, no insurance claim.
Self-drive sessions are rentals for the booked window. Riders ride within the lead-guide convoy at all times, follow the briefing, and respect the dune-section boundary. Riding off-route or outside the convoy is at the rider's own risk and may invalidate any third-party travel insurance the rider holds.
Vehicle damage caused by rider error is the rider's responsibility under standard rental terms. Repair cost recovery follows the operator's published damage matrix shared at the briefing on request. The operator does not market 'all-coverage' or 'insurance-bundled' coverage on any silo — rental rules apply on the same basis as any vehicle rental.
Helmet, goggles, gloves, and (where applicable) elbow/knee guards are issued at the launch site. Riding without the supplied gear voids the booking and is grounds for the operator to terminate the session without refund. Rider behaviour judged unsafe by the lead guide (driving recklessly, ignoring instructions) is grounds for early termination of the session at the rider's cost.
Methods, currencies, refunds.
Card payment accepted via UAE-licensed online gateway (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Cash payment accepted in AED on pickup or at the launch site. Bank transfer accepted with advance booking; provide IBAN on request. No surcharges for any payment method; pricing identical regardless of channel.
Pricing displayed in AED across the site. Future localization columns (USD, EUR, GBP, INR, CNY, RUB) are reserved on pricing tables for client population — values shown 'Coming soon' until populated. Currency conversion at the time of card payment is handled by the cardholder's bank, not by the operator.
Refunds processed back to the original payment channel within 5–10 working days from the cancellation confirmation. Card refunds visible inside one billing cycle on the cardholder's statement. Cash refunds returned at the next operator/guest meeting or via bank transfer to a guest-provided IBAN.
What the operator covers.
The operator runs DTCM-licensed adventure tours under standard Dubai-tourist-operator safety practices. Helmet, briefings, lead-guide supervision, vehicle maintenance, and operational protocols apply across every booking. Inherent activity risk (dune driving, balloon flight, off-road quad riding) cannot be eliminated and remains part of the experience.
By booking and participating in any session, the guest acknowledges the inherent risk of the activity and agrees to follow the briefing and the lead-guide's instructions. The operator's liability for personal injury or vehicle damage is limited to the extent caused by operator-side negligence (faulty equipment supplied without disclosure, guide instruction error, supervisor absence). Guest-side error (riding outside the briefing, ignoring guide instructions, riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs) sits with the guest.
Travel insurance with adventure-activity coverage is recommended for international guests; UAE residents should confirm with their personal insurer that the activity is covered. The operator does not represent or warrant any insurance coverage on the guest's behalf.
Image use, governing law, contact.
Photos taken by guides during the session may be used by the operator in marketing materials, with reasonable cropping for guest privacy. If a guest prefers not to be featured, mention at booking and the team excludes their images from public use. Photographer add-on output is delivered to the guest only and not used by the operator without explicit opt-in.
Governing law: United Arab Emirates law, Dubai jurisdiction. Disputes resolved first via direct communication with the operator (WhatsApp/email/phone), then via DTCM tourism complaints channel where applicable, then via courts of Dubai.
Updates to these terms apply prospectively to bookings made after the update date. Existing bookings are governed by the terms in force at the time of booking confirmation. Last updated: 2026-04-27.
