Every session has a lead guide and a sweep guide. The lead rides the front of the convoy, briefs each new dune section, and adjusts pace to the slowest comfortable rider. The sweep rides the back to keep the group together and assist if a buggy or quad needs help. Group sizes typically 2–8 per convoy.
Pre-session briefing covers controls, terrain technique, hand signals, emergency stop procedure, throttle response. Most first-timers feel comfortable inside the first 5–10 minutes. Newer riders ride closer to the lead guide; experienced riders unlock more challenging dune lines.
Camp hosts manage the BBQ, live shows, and the camel/sandboard slots. They coordinate dietary preferences (vegetarian, halal, gluten-free, allergies) and adjust the camp programme around guest energy and family pace. Pilot team runs the balloon segment under DTCM licensing standards.
Behind the scenes the technician team logs every vehicle's pre-ride and post-ride condition, replaces consumables (gloves, goggles, water bottles), and rotates fleet coverage across the silos. Reservations team handles WhatsApp threads, custom quotes, and post-trip review collection.
Multi-lingual team coverage.
All guides and drivers speak English. The team also covers Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Tagalog reliably across most shifts. Russian and Mandarin coverage exists but rotates depending on the day. Mention preferred language at booking and the team matches a guide where available.
Sign-language and hearing-impaired support: limited but possible with advance coordination. Wheelchair access on selected silos (Jebel Jais drive-up, Al Marjan beach resorts, balloon flight with operator pre-approval). Mobility-restricted guests should send specifics on WhatsApp before booking so the team can match the right vehicle and route.
