Long-distance overnight bookings (Liwa, Empty Quarter, multi-day Al Ain): typically 30% deposit at confirmation, balance on pickup. Deposit secures the route plan and any third-party reservations (camp tents, restaurant reservations, zipline tickets).

Group bookings of 8+ on standard silos: 25% deposit may apply at the operator's discretion for large groups, especially during peak season when the deposit secures fleet allocation.

Voucher-funded bookings: voucher value applied at confirmation, balance (if any) collected at the standard pickup-day timing. No additional deposit on top of the voucher value.

Reschedule rules, fee structure.

Cancellation: 96+ hours ahead = no fee. 72+ hours ahead = 50%. Under 24 hours / same-day / no-show = 100%. Cancellations submitted via the same WhatsApp thread used to confirm.

Modifications: 96+ hours ahead = free for date, group size, package changes (subject to availability). 72+ hours ahead = subject to availability with possible small admin fee for substantial changes. Under 24 hours: same as cancellation 100% with discretion for genuine emergencies.

Operator-initiated cancellation (weather, equipment, road closure): complete refund or reschedule at guest preference. Refund processing 5–10 working days through original payment channel.

Edge cases, exceptions.

Same-day booking very close to operating hours close: WhatsApp message sent after 21:00 typically reads next morning unless the team is online. Same-day reschedules close to a confirmed booking within 24 hours: handled via direct phone call when feasible.

Weather-related rebooking initiated by the guest: handled flexibly within the same week as the original booking. Different week requires standard cancellation policy unless operator-initiated.

Travel-disruption emergencies (flight delay, medical issue): genuine evidence (flight delay confirmation, medical note) qualifies for fee waiver at operator discretion. Communicate as soon as the disruption arises.

Voucher-related substitutions: voucher purchaser may substitute the recipient or shift the voucher to a different package within the validity window — coordinate via WhatsApp before redemption.
