Why pick the Raptor Quad 700cc.

The Yamaha Raptor 700 is the flagship sport ATV in our fleet — and the most demanding machine. Race-spec chassis, the sharpest throttle in the lineup, longest suspension travel, and a power-to-weight ratio that punishes hesitation. The team reserves this machine for riders with confirmed prior ATV experience: the 400cc Turbo at minimum, ideally a Sport 625 session, or external sport-quad track time.

Booking is 1-hour minimum. We don't run the Raptor on the 30-minute taster slot — too punchy. The Fossil Rock loop on the 2-hour slot is where this machine is fully appreciated.

What the ride feels like.

Riders describe the Raptor as a different category from the family quads. The throttle is binary at low rpm, then comes on in a wave; the chassis turns sharper than its 700cc engine suggests; and the suspension absorbs whoops the Sport 625 would shake on. On a long Lahbab straight you can settle into a 100-km/h cruise. On Fossil Rock the suspension finally has work to do.

Ride smart.

Per the rental agreement riders sign at the camp.

  • Quads run on approved sandy/desert areas only — never on public roads.
  • Riders follow guide instructions and the briefing at all times.
  • Damage from misuse, rollover, collision, reckless or off-route riding, or late return is chargeable per the rental agreement.
  • Closed shoes required. No flip-flops or open sandals.
  • Helmet, goggles and gloves must be worn for the full session.
  • Reduced ride time from late arrival is not normally refunded.

Common questions.

Is the Raptor really expert-only?+
Yes. The team confirms prior ATV experience at the camp before unlocking the machine. If you've ridden the Sport 625 here, the 400cc Turbo on multiple visits, or have sport-quad track time elsewhere, you're cleared. First-timers and intermediate riders go to other machines.
How does it compare to the Sport 625?+
Sharper throttle, longer suspension travel, a more aggressive chassis. The Raptor rewards the rider who already enjoys the Sport 625 — most who ride both prefer the Raptor for Fossil Rock and the Sport for Lahbab full loop.
Why no 30-minute slot?+
The Raptor is at its best on a long run. The chassis warms up, the rider adjusts to the throttle, and the route opens up. A 30-minute slot doesn't do justice to the machine — 1-hour minimum keeps it aligned.
Can I really do Fossil Rock?+
Yes — the Raptor is one of two machines approved for the Fossil Rock 2-hour loop. The route is weather-dependent (closed in extreme heat or low visibility) and requires prior approval on WhatsApp at booking time.
What if I want to ride the Raptor but I'm not sure I qualify?+
Message us on WhatsApp before booking. The team will review your prior riding (quad, sport bike, jet ski experience all factor in) and route you to the right machine. If the Raptor is the right call we'll confirm; if not, we'll suggest the Sport 625 or 400cc Turbo as a stepping-stone.
