Cookie
Policy.
Cookies set by buggyridedubai.com, by analytics tools (when enabled), and by third-party embedded content (Google Maps tile, YouTube, WhatsApp widget). What each does, retention period, opt-out instructions. Last updated: 2026-04-27.
Session, preferences, what we set.
Session cookie: maintains your visit context across page navigation (e.g. so you don't lose your place when navigating from a service page to the FAQ and back). No personal data inside; expires when the browser session ends.
Preference cookie (when implemented): remembers your selected currency display preference (AED, USD, EUR, etc., once localization is live), language preference, and any consent choices. Persists for 12 months unless cleared.
Booking-context cookie (transient): if you fill the contact form partially, a transient cookie remembers the entered fields if you accidentally navigate away. Cleared on form submission or 30 minutes after last edit.
Anonymized, opt-out.
When site analytics is enabled, an anonymized analytics cookie collects: country, browser, page-path, referrer, time-on-page. Aggregated reports inform site improvements; no individual identification, no cross-site tracking.
Opt-out: configurable via the cookie banner where present. If you choose to opt-out of analytics, the cookie is not set on subsequent visits. Existing analytics cookies in your browser cleared on the next visit.
Provider neutrality: the operator does not commit to a specific analytics tool publicly (Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, or similar). When implemented, the chosen tool is named in this policy.
Maps, video, messaging widgets.
Google Maps tile embed: when a Google Maps frame appears on a page, Google sets its own cookies under its policy. Disable in your browser if you prefer; the map will still display but personalization may be reduced.
YouTube video embeds: same model — YouTube sets cookies for video playback context. Block third-party cookies in your browser to prevent YouTube cookies, with the trade-off that some embedded videos may not play.
WhatsApp click-through widget: clicking 'Open WhatsApp' opens WhatsApp's web or mobile app under WhatsApp/Meta's privacy framework. The operator does not see the WhatsApp message until you actively send it.
Browser settings, consent banner.
Browser settings: every modern browser supports clearing existing cookies and blocking new ones — Chrome (Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies), Safari (Preferences > Privacy), Firefox (Preferences > Privacy & Security), Edge (Settings > Cookies). Choose 'Block third-party cookies' for the strongest privacy stance with the least site-functionality loss.
Cookie consent banner (when implemented): the banner offers Accept All / Reject All / Manage. Manage shows the categories (essential / analytics / third-party) with individual opt-in toggles. Choices remembered via the preference cookie.
Resetting consent: clearing your browser's cookies for buggyridedubai.com resets the consent banner; it appears again on your next visit.
