2-Seater Can-Am X3 RS Turbo RR
The flagship factory race buggy in our fleet. 195 HP forced-induction Rotax, race-tuned Fox shocks and a chassis built to crest Big Red on the very first attempt — for advanced riders only.
Why pick the 2-Seater Can-Am X3 RS Turbo RR.
The X3 RS Turbo RR is what happens when Can-Am ports its desert-race programme onto a road-legal chassis. 195 HP forced-induction Rotax, factory Fox shocks with adjustable compression and rebound, a stiffer roll cage, and a long-travel suspension geometry tuned for sustained 140 km/h work. It is the only car in our fleet we restrict to advanced riders who have driven a 1000cc Turbo or a Maverick X3 with us before.
Most people who book this car already know why they want it. They want to clear the upper face of Big Red on the first run. They want the unmistakable dual-turbo whistle through the cockpit. They want the photographs that only a flagship body delivers. If that is not you, the Maverick X3 is the right starting point.
What the ride feels like.
Acceleration, climbing capability, comfort, and recommended terrain — written from real ride data, not marketing copy.
Throttle response is immediate. The turbo spools by 3,000 rpm and the chassis simply launches; on flat Lahbab sand it pulls cleanly to 130 km/h before you have noticed. The Fox shocks are race-stiff, which is the trade — small surface chatter telegraphs to the seat, but big crest landings settle in a single cycle instead of porpoising.
This is the buggy that turns the Big Red rite-of-passage into a routine ride. The 195 HP avoids the mid-climb stall that catches lesser cars; the wide-track stays planted on the off-camber lip; the race seats and harness keep you square through the lateral G of a fast turn. Fossil Rock on the 2-hour loop is the second-best stage for this car — long enough to actually use the top end. Hotel pickup applies on 1+ hour bookings.
