What the 1-Hour ride is for.
The 1-hour slot is the bestseller at Buggy Ride Dubai. It is the duration where the package is at its best — long enough to circle a full Lahbab dune route with two or three photo stops, short enough to fit into a half-day. Free hotel pickup and drop-off across Dubai is included on every 1-hour booking, so you don't need a rental car or a taxi to reach the camp.
Total programme time is around 4 hours door-to-door (pickup + transfer + briefing + 1-hour ride + photo stops + drop-off). Pair it with a desert safari in the afternoon if you want a full desert day.

Is the 1-Hour the right slot for you?
First-time riders. The 1-hour slot gives the guide enough room to coach line choice, let you settle into the throttle, and still finish a real Lahbab loop. Most repeat riders also default to this slot.
Couples and small groups. Mix two 2-seaters, or split into a 4-seater. The 1-hour duration runs the full fleet, so the group can match seat counts to budget.
Travellers without a rental car. Free pickup from any Dubai hotel, plus drop-off at the same address. The 1-hour slot is the cheapest pickup-included option in our pricing.

- Dune buggies are operated only on approved sandy/desert areas — never on public roads or streets.
- Guests must follow guide instructions and the safety briefing at all times.
- Damage from misuse, rollover, collision, off-route driving, or late return may be chargeable per the rental agreement.
- Drivers must be 18+ with a valid passport ID. Passengers must be 12+ with a guardian.
- Closed shoes required. No flip-flops or open sandals (loaner pairs available at the camp).
- Safety gear (helmet, goggles, gloves) and guided briefing are included on every ride.

Is hotel pickup really free?
Yes. The 1-hour and 2-hour bookings include free pickup and drop-off at any Dubai hotel — no surcharge, no minimum booking value. The 30-minute and 15-minute slots meet at the camp.
Can I get to Big Red on a 1-hour ride?
On Can-Am or turbo buggies the team can include a short Big Red detour within the hour for experienced riders. For a fuller Big Red loop or Fossil Rock add-on, pick the 2-hour slot.
Which buggy works best for a first-timer on the 1-hour slot?
The team most often pairs first-timers with the 2-Seater Dune Buggy 1000cc (AED 900) or the 2-Seater Can-Am Maverick X3 (AED 1,499). Both have linear throttles and forgiving chassis.
How long is the total programme door-to-door?
Around 4 hours — pickup, 40-minute drive to Lahbab, briefing and helmet fit, the 1-hour ride, photo stops, debrief and drop-off.
Can the family share one 4-seater for the hour?
Yes. The 4-Seater Dune Buggy 1000cc (AED 1,200) takes two adults and two passengers 12+ in a single buggy on the 1-hour slot.
Do you run 1-hour rides at sunset?
Yes. Sunset slots are the most popular slot of the day and book out 1–2 days ahead in October–April. We recommend booking on WhatsApp the night before for any sunset ride.
