What the 30-Minute ride is for.
Thirty minutes is the most-booked short slot at Buggy Ride Dubai. It is the first duration where every buggy in the fleet is available — including the 1000cc Turbo and the four Can-Am X3 variants — and it is short enough that families can pair it with a desert safari or a camel ride later in the day.
Total time on site is around 90 minutes (briefing + helmet fit + 30 min ride + photo stops + debrief). Hotel pickup is not included on the 30-minute slot — guests meet our team at the Lahbab desert camp. For included pickup, see the 1-hour and 2-hour packages.

Is the 30-Minute the right slot for you?
You want power without committing a full hour. Thirty minutes is enough to feel the 168 HP turbo or the 154 HP Can-Am Maverick on a real dune line — not just a parking-lot lap.
You are taking the family. The 4-seater 1000cc and 4-seater Can-Am are both available at this slot. Two adults plus two kids 12+ in one buggy keeps everyone together.
You are pairing it with a sunset safari. Book the 30-minute morning buggy ride, then transfer to a desert camp for sunset dunes, BBQ and entertainment.

Rental agreement summary
- Dune buggies are operated only on approved sandy/desert areas — never on public roads or streets.
- Guests must follow guide instructions and the safety briefing at all times.
- Damage from misuse, rollover, collision, off-route driving, or late return may be chargeable per the rental agreement.
- Drivers must be 18+ with a valid passport ID. Passengers must be 12+ with a guardian.
- Closed shoes required. No flip-flops or open sandals (loaner pairs available at the camp).
- Safety gear (helmet, goggles, gloves) and guided briefing are included on every ride.

What is the difference between the 30-minute and 1-hour slots?
The 30-minute slot meets at the Lahbab desert camp and runs one focused dune loop. The 1-hour slot includes free hotel pickup and drop-off across Dubai, plus 2–3 photo stops and a longer dune circuit. If you want pickup, jump to the 1-hour.
Which buggy is most-booked on 30 minutes?
The 2-Seater Can-Am Maverick X3 (AED 999) and the 2-Seater Dune Buggy 1000cc Turbo (AED 900). Both punch above the entry 1000cc and finish a full Lahbab loop within the slot.
Is hotel pickup included on the 30-minute slot?
No — the 30-minute slot meets at our Lahbab desert camp, roughly 40 minutes south-east of Downtown Dubai. Pickup is included on the 1-hour and 2-hour rides.
Can I take the 4-seater for a 30-minute ride?
Yes. The 4-Seater Dune Buggy 1000cc (AED 800), the 4-Seater Turbo (AED 1,200), and both 4-seater Can-Am models are all available on the 30-minute slot.
How long is total time on site?
Plan around 90 minutes total at the camp — that covers briefing, helmet fit, the 30-minute ride, photo stops and a quick debrief.
Can I extend to 1 hour during the ride?
Yes if the next slot is free and the buggy is not pre-booked. Tell your guide — the team can confirm in 2 minutes and bill the difference at the camp.
Do you run 30-minute rides every day?
Yes. Daily departures from 7 AM to sunset, year-round. In summer (May–September) we recommend the early-morning slot before the sand gets too hot for closed shoes.
