▸ About this location

Why ride at Al Qudra.

Al Qudra sits on the western edge of the Dubai desert — around 30 minutes from Marina — and the dune system here is fundamentally different from Lahbab. Sand is golden, lighter in colour, and the dunes roll in gentler grades. There aren't the 50-metre crests of inner Lahbab; there are sweeping mid-height ridges that stay forgiving even at speed.

That makes Al Qudra a strong second-choice location for first-time riders, families with mixed experience levels, and travellers who don't want the longer drive to Lahbab. The beginner and standard quads (Yamaha 220cc and 400cc) are the natural fit. The sport-frame quads (Sport 625, Raptor 700) typically run from Lahbab where the inner ridges suit their geometry better.

▸ FAQ — Al Qudra

Common questions.

Why pick Al Qudra over Lahbab?+
Closer to Marina (30 min vs 45 min), gentler dune grades, golden-colour sand for a different photo aesthetic. Al Qudra is the right pick for first-timers and families who want a friendlier introduction to dune riding.
Which quads run at Al Qudra?+
The Yamaha 220cc and 400cc family (single, double seater, Turbo). The 700cc Grizzly and the sport-frame quads (Sport 625, Raptor 700) typically run from the Lahbab camp where the inner ridges suit them better.
Is hotel pickup included?+
Yes on the 1-hour and 2-hour bookings — same pickup policy as our Lahbab camp. The 30-minute slot meets at the Al Qudra meeting point — pin shared on WhatsApp at booking.
Is Al Qudra summer-friendly?+
More than Lahbab. The lighter sand colour reflects more heat, and the gentler grades mean rides finish quicker — both factors help in summer. Even so, we shift to early-morning slots May–September.
Can I do Big Red from Al Qudra?+
No — Big Red is on the Lahbab side of the desert. Big Red detours run from the Lahbab camp on the 1-hour and 2-hour rides. Al Qudra is its own dune system.
